Corning's video, "A Day Made of Glass", demonstrates Corning's vision of the future with their specialty interactive glass surfaces helping you to stay connected through seamless delivery of real-time information – whether you’re working, shopping, eating, or relaxing. Corning's vision of the future demonstrates that glass is the essential enabling material of this new world. We agree. However there is something more evident than glass in this video, the seamless delivery of Data. It requires mutiple manufacturers creating different appliances that all store and access data differently. The video shows multiple devices displaying data in different ways. Do you know what operating system the refrigerator running? What would make this future possible is a central source for Data that is independant of the appliances and devices that use them. What is needed is a way to access your Data: at home, in the car, at the bus stop, on a mobile phone, at work, in the retail store, etc. This is exactly what a Data Utility Company would provide: a company like us, The ObjectMode Corporation. Intelligent data is the central enabling technology. Data that is smart enough, to understand the context of the display device be it a refrigerator, counter top, television, phone, car, kiosk, etc. This is our technology.
